ADE Installation P3Dv4
« on: February 22, 2019, 03:41:39 PM »
Hello everyone. I am not to good when it comes to finding folders where files are suppose to be. I have installed P3Dv4 in another HD only because its faster loading and better performance and quicker loading times... anyway  I cannot find the 2 folders I need for ADE to work. I have the root folder but the SDK and BGL Folders I have no idea where they are located. Can some "PLEASE" help me in this matter.  P3Dv4 is installed in my E: Drive.

Hi tdenbrock,
ADE is asking for your SDK (software development kit) location and where to find the "bglcomp.exe" file.  Have you installed the SDK for your sim?  It is a separate install, and most people probably don't install it.  You can get it from the download page of LM.  It is usually installed in the same directory as your sim's main folder.  Do a search for the bglcomp.exe file.  ;)

The SDK is a separate installation, find it here-  https://www.prepar3d.com/support/sdk/
The bgl's are found in the scenery folder, for the scenery you want to work on.
