Hey Rob,
I was just looking over the posts, and stumbled upon this. Yes, it was me. I'd be happy to share with you what I know. The section of the exe.xml file looks like this:
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Living World</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>addon scenery\animation\LivingWorld.exe</Path>
<CommandLine>LivingWorld</CommandLine>
</Launch.Addon>
Once you get it working you need to edit the livingworld.cfg file to give coordinates to the whales location. A rectangular path for the whales to travel in. Here's a couple of mine:
-------------------------------------------------------------
; Humpback whales in Ketchikan, Alaska.
[SimObj0]
Number=9
Season=4
Points=4
Speed=50
Altitude=1
Grouping=300
[Route0]
Lat=55 35.65,55 33.82,55 33.40,55 33.04
Long=-131 54.28,-131 53.02,-131 52.32,-131 53.33
; Orcas offshore of Bellingham airport.
[SimObj1]
Number=9
Season=4
Points=4
Speed=40
Altitude=1
Grouping=300
[Route1]
Lat=48 44.86,48 44.97,48 44.92,48 44.87
Long=-122 32.93,-122 32.93,-122 32.93,-122 32.93
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Notice that there are no "N,S,E, or W". Instead of W122 32.93, it is -122 32.93. The Lats are positive numbers in the northern hemisphere. There are four points, defined by a lat and a long for each. Something to remember, when you want to find them. Hint - Pick a spot and land there in a float plane. Get the coordinates of where you are. This is the important part. "Save a flight at that spot" so you can find them later. I had a hard time finding the humpbacks after I placed them. Look for the Mist they breathe out. Orcas are easier to spot. Good luck with it. Let me know if you need help.
