Hello,

Bronson Creek, CAB5, is a part of Tongass Fjords add-on, by Holger Sandmann and Bill Womack (before their works for OrbX NA areas) , payware available at FSAddon.com .
Photoreal areas, cabins, AI traffic ...

Highly recommended too. Connects seamlessly with NA's adjacent scenery  (actually the other way around). Don't miss Sitka if you have it.

After reading Kim's post I flew to Bronson Creek last night in the Beaver.  I've got Tongass Fjords and yes the strip does blend in nicely.  Strangely though, I didn't find it bumpy or difficult to land at.

It was the water that is bumpy at bronson not the strip which is a natural slope, not really hard but a proper bush strip though. The water in the river though is effectively flowing downhill and is not a regular surface, but you don't really notice it till you are landed.

I just flew to Bronson Creek hoping to land, but there is no airstrip, just trees and buildings.

I have both PFJ and Tongass X installed, i tried putting tongass above PFJ but no change...

Is there another addon I need for this airfield to show or are something with my settings wrong?

P.S. There is not even water in the area.

Nevermind, it seems to be a common Tongass X problem according to their forum.

I have a runway at Bronson Creek ... with little buildings here and there.  It's a long runway for that area.

Yes I fixed it. It was a common bug with win 7, 64-bit or something that didn't add the correct values to terrain.cfg with Tongass X.

If you don't mind, could you explain how you fixed it, so other people could do it too.

Win10Pro64, MSFS 1.25.9.0, P3Dv4.3.29.25520, AMD Ryzen7 1800X@3.6 GHz , 32Gb RAM, GTX 1080 Ti, 2x42" Vizio Monitors, HTC Vive VR HMD, Saitek Yoke/Pedals/trim wheel, XBox360 Controller, G27 steering wheel w/shifter+pedals. :P

1. Run the repair tool. If that does not work:

2. Email the Tongass creators to get a textfile and edit terrain.cfg manually to add the scenery stuff in there, for some reason the install did not add the proper lines of text for me.
