Hello,
Just watch a youtube video on FTX forums of a nightlanding this aircraft at Wrangell.
Cockpit looked very nice. And it‘s freeware.

I guess this is an turbine driven aircraft? Sorry for a dummy wuestion but I‘m related to belicopters than airplanes. From the cockpit it sounded alomst like a F16 Jetfighter.

Would it be worth having this one in a Misty paintscheme?
What do you think? Does anybody of the RTMM community fly this aircraft on his trips in RTMM world?

Hello Klaus,

Yes, it is a turboprop, the modified/upgraded version of original Cessna 206 by Soloy. AFAIU from their website, they discontinued Mark I (the one developed and released for FS by Thomas) and are focused on Mark II production only, which Thomas is also preparing for us, FS junkies, thanks to his generosity and talents...

I don't know about others, but I've been flying this model in RTMM as soon as it was released. I've long looked for a birdie that would fit my 'RTMM needs' and I've found'em in Tom's masterpiece: i) small, compact but practical for the area; ii) has amphibian and tundra versions; iii) amazingly agile compared, for instance, to its non-turboprop counterparts of sorts... which makes it possible to take it to longer distances.

   You will love it. One change needed to stop the float plane.
Open the aircraft.cfg  file  with notepad. Change these 3 lines - copy and paste works-
prop_reverse_available = 1 //jdl
minimum_on_ground_beta = 1 // jdl and
minimum_reverse_beta = -14 // jdl
    Lines are already there, you are replacing them. Delete them and copy/paste these 3 lines in their place. Save the file. (aircraft.cfg.)  That's it - voila! - F2 (tap twice)  stops the plane !

Aha!  I was looking in the back seat to throw out an anchor!!! Couldn't stop the darned thing. :-)

What's the trick to turning on the gps, etc? I'm told I need the Flight1 Update tool?

OK, that turned them on (mouse wheel). I'm getting there, Sue! :-)

Got the THREE lines into the aircraft cfg ok, but F2 doesn't slow it down. I only put it into the "float" ... I'll try it in the other ones.  In your post you gave me "three lines" to fix, but you mention 4 ... was there another one?

No, and ill try that next. Interesting too, I start it with CTRL-E...but it doesn't move  forward with throttle  until I flip  the start button to the up position. What us the startup warning I'm getting about using the flight one tool to update the instruments? I've got 4.2 here. This is a neat plane, with the effort to get it to work I think.

  I don't get that message. It might be because I ran the update tool for a different install. I'll play a bit and see.

  You should only get that if you are using Flight One GTN GPS.

DOH ! RTFM !  At the base of the throttle there is a switch ground idle-flight idle. This should be changed to ground idle before landing. Also panel config-
