Keep Spud in your thoughts
« on: January 22, 2018, 01:56:12 PM »
Folks,

We've heard back from "Spud" who's been MIA recently. He's dealing with some health concerns and I just wanted to ask that you all send some positive vibes his way.

We're here for you Spud so whenever you're up to it, there's a table and a cold one on stand by at "Misty's"

Brad

A good suggestion is to fill his PM mailbox with your best wishes so he's sure to see them.

UPDATE!

Good Gawd Almighty!

Can't say thanks enough for all the good wishes from everyone!

Sorry to just drop off the world but what started as a stomach ache and a cold developed into a tad more.
Was hospitalized for about a week and by the time I got out seems the old kidneys decided that they had done enough filtering and failed.
I'm now in dialysis permanently three times a week but getting better slowly. Me and the dog are just wearing out I guess!

I'm back at the computer the first time with any energy to post and see I'm very far behind with scenery QC to the point I'm kinda lost.

Being sick is a rather new experience for this old sailor and can't say I really entertain the idea of the whole thing! Still very weak feeling and tire out quickly although having to recline 4 hrs. at a stretch for dialysis gets old quite quickly at least they have individual TV's to watch.

My son has been a tremendous help during all this mess to say the least. Don't have a clue on what I would do without him!

Nice to see all the new efforts with RTMM scenery hope I can figure out which goes what and who did it!
Seriously I seem to have forgotten about half of the little I knew regarding scenery checking but the good Lord willin' and the crick don't rise I'll try to recover both knowledge and health ASAP!

Later,

Spud
