Whitehorse CYXY airport scenery issue
« on: November 26, 2017, 07:31:19 PM »
I have a strange problem at Whitehorse CYXY.  I have not flown out of this airport before so not sure where/when the problem was introduced, but as you can see in the picture, the airport is really messed up. My scenery order has not changed recently besides the periodic additions of RTMM files at top (none of which I know of that impact this airport).  I have ORBX scenery installed and updated.  Any ideas?

I do have ORBX Global Vector and I updated it to see if that would help, which it did not.

AEC should be disabled in Vector configuration for CYXY.

Thank you, that did the trick!  I was not aware of the FTX Vector Configurator. Disabling that airport resolved the scenery elevation problems.  Do you recommend the auto scan option in that app?

Orbx recommends running the auto scan after each airport install.  I usually forget, until I see one that needs fixing.  Then I run it.   :P

Be aware that running the Auto-Configuration routine in the VECTOR Configuration Tool does not necessarily find and correct all airport elevation problem.  If there is an elevation problem and you correct it using the manual method that correction and ALL manual corrections will be overwritten when the Auto-Configuration routine is run.
