The CIRP Hovercraft is Back!

Coming soon to your harbor and hangar ... the CIRP Hovercraft is once again almost operational. Rod has poured the magic dust over the model and it has risen from the grave with gusto!  It now heads to Jeff so he can tear the engine apart and put it back together again. A little more work to do, but soon you'll have the two vehicles, the CIRP Stalwart and the CIRP Hovercraft you need for enjoying the glaciers.

You guys are indeed working wonders in the updating of the Hovercraft as well as the Stalwart vehicles for P3Dv4x users! And whew!. it's kind of very important o have those ice vehicles in top shape as they are the only ground vehicles that can tackle the conditions of the CIRP!

This will sure help p3dv4 users in the "To the Summit and Beyond" CIRP2 excursion, which requires both the Stalwart and the CIRP Hovercraft on 5 of the legs of that trip!.

Jeff! Need lots of horsepower in that hovercraft! It has to launch and reach 1000ft in the air so it needs some HP to get up to some serious speed down the Soule glacier, launch off a natural rock ramp to get airborne to reach 1000ft!. (and no I'm not kidding!! lol.). (In the next post, there is 4 pics taken almost 2 yrs ago, when I built this CIRP2 trip, which illustrates the Hovercraft's abilities to float on air and launch as seen in one of the CIRP2 tour legs. lol.

Ok the Hovercraft launch sequence: T minus 60.. (planning to bring back the CIRP Trips Mid January 2018 if Rod and Jeff get that Hovercraft totally overhauled and up to snuff by then. lol)

And the Stalwart is like a tank on those ice fields: It can go anywhere!!  Great job guys!
