     Ah, I thought that story sounded familiar.  It is the Alice Rogoff story from last year.  Nice pic of the plane after it was hauled to shore.  :o  Nicer pic of her clipping those trees.  ;)  Good catch by some bystander.  Cool!  8)

Whoops! My dad's flight instructor was talking about that. She ditched it on the water for some reason ( ???) and completey ruined her (new) 206. Oh well, she owns the local newspaper, and she can afford to get a knew one right away :o
