Hi All, here are a few pics of a flight
« on: June 14, 2017, 12:49:36 PM »
Hi RTMM flyers, Here are a few pics of a flight I made near Norandex Mine Complex. I saw some cabins I didn't know were in the inlet.  John (Jay) Skokan, pilot for Misty Moorings, (amoung others)

Nice catch, John! :) Yeah, that's why I love flying (and boating, occasionally though...) in the Pacific Northwest too: everything is unexpected there - from surprise encounters with animals and weather to shelters and cabins... Thanks to RTMM, the same 'logic' has migrated to the FSX world. 8)

Welcome to your new playground!!!

Hi John,
I use Photobucket to store my screenies, then post the link in my messages to show the pics.  It works great for me.   ;)  Otherwise, you should be able to edit the picture in a photo program to make a reduced copy.  You can post four pics in the attachments options below.   :P

I used photobucket, but Flickr is way faster.

I open mine in IR Fan View (freeware), convert them to .jpg, crop out only the primary part of the picture, and re-save it. Cuts the file size down in a really major way. Or, if you want to make thumbnails for instance you can specify dimensions. It's easy. It's also my default picture viewing app.

I have saved thousands of pictures on Photobucket over the years.  Switching to a different service would just confuse me, I think.  Keep everything in one bucket.  I didn't know about flickr when I started with photobucket.  I agree that Photobucket sucks, but not as bad as they used to.   :o ;D

Hi John,
No worries.  It was just a bit of light ribbing about the conflict between the thread title and the contents.  Posting one pic is greatly appreciated.  Enjoy your simming and take care of your wife.  We'll be here when you are able to share again.  ;)
