S70 FIREHAWK
« on: August 12, 2018, 03:20:40 PM »
Hello helosimmers,
there`s a great modification for the cerasim UH-60L Blackhawk avaible at simouthouse turning this Military helicopter into the S-70 Firehawk. The mod changes the outside model of the helicopter, but not the interior, gauges or flightdydnamics.

The Firehawk is great in fighting bush and forestfires with a 1.000 gallons/3.800 liters water tank with snorkel allowing it to refill the tank from rivers and lakes.
It also has a hoist system integrated and a skysun searchlight. The cabin is prepared to pick up to 14 firefighters. It can also be used for HEMS missions.

So, I have now upgraded my mistyHAWK to the mistyFIREHAWK.......................

The mod is done for FSX, but I installed it in P3D v4.3 and it works very well for me so far.

You can get the modification here:
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=36

Follow the install instructions!!

Below are a few screenshots showing mistyFIREHAWK at JLA Quartz Creek.
It is stationed there for the summer protecting the Western Chugach Region from fires.......

Danny, most all of those types of sites do require registration. There are no strings attached, however. Many of them offer Premium accounts (fee based) for faster DL speeds, but their Dl's are still available at a slower speed for free. I think the reason they require registration is to weed out the spammers. I'm registered at so many sites (as I'm sure most of us are) I have to have a book to keep track of them. Just register and reap the benefits.

Hello Sue,
thank you I‘m glad you like the HAWK‘s painting.

I found a very nice video a Firehawk pilot is explaining the capabilities of his helicopter.
