ORBX releases new version of FTX GLOBAL

For those who have ORBX FTX Global Base a new version has been released.  ORBX FTX Central v3 will allow a download.
If you have my kind of luck be prepared for a struggle.  It took me over 2 hrs. and 10 attempts to get the full download. (approx. 869MB)

   ... actually, mine says it's up-to-date too (version 1.40 September 2015)!  (not last September.)

Seems like a lot of people have not gotten any update notice in Central v3.1.  I started the pgm. and when checkig the 'FTX Global Range' the notice was posted at the top of the Global Base Pack picture so I got the D/L after a bit if trouble.  The Guide says v1.40 September 2016 so I'm just going with it as is for now.  Good Ol' ORBX will certainly make sure I'm comfy, and tucked in at beddy bye time I'm sure.

     Spud, I think you need to have someone check your medications.  You may have gotten some of them mixed up recently.     (... or doubling up on the dosage, maybe)      I know it gets harder for me to read labels the older I get.

There was a library update a little while ago, but I did not find anything abour a FTX Global update ?!

I still have no idea why my Central (v3.1.0.2) suddenly popped up with an update available. Following Holger's directions in the forum post cited, it tells me Global Base Pack is version 1.40 September 2015. However when I open the User Guide by clicking the 'User Guide' button it tells me Global Base Pack v1.40 September 2016???
In any case if your not getting a notification of an update in FTX Central and your Global Base Pack is v1.40 September 2015 I wouldn't worry about things.
I'm chalking this anomaly up to another small FU by ORBX due to trying to 'have it all their way'.

Aha!
notice that after 'topic' my original link has ... for some reason.  I just tried the new link and its working.

FWIW it appears that for some reason My Central has or had some sort of glitch.  As noted if you don't get a notice just go drink a beere a Misty's and ignore the whole thing your good to go.
Now for the strange part I checked my HD and I have files for the update IE: a new manual etc. so I'm still wondering WTF!!!!

EDIT:  Now what?   I tried to update it, and it says I don't have a license for it in my account!  They want me to buy it again!?!  WTF!!!   I don't need the update that bad.  Not paying over $50 twice for it. 

edit 2:  I went into my OrbxDirect.com account and my purchased products list.  I found the OLC:NA AL/CAN and there was a download button from there.  Downloading now.  I don't know why it ... um,  (FTX Central just CTD while downloading).  Now they want me to send some log file to Orbx.  Boo!!!

EDIT 3:  Apparently Orbx doesn't consider my OLC:NA Alaska/Canada to be the same product.  I thought it was the same thing, and I would be "upgraded" to OLC:NA.  Do I have to purchase the North America package again? It includes Alaska/Canada in it, and "supersedes it".  I don't remember if I already bought the upgrade or not.  I must not have, eh?  My OLC:NA Alaska/Canada is no good now, as it was replaced by the other one, which is the same thing, only $55 more. 

edit 4:   I paid.       Update downloading now ...   
       ... and the download failed!  Again!
