BWEP Richardson Highway
« on: January 12, 2017, 06:18:52 PM »
Hi All
Enjoying flying this new scenery-terrific work!
A couple of points I observed in my setup
Road north of Paxson in water. N 63 13.89'. W145 40.30'-road is fringed with grass -causeway?
5BK Black Rapids-2 gaps in pipeline-cause-airstrip looks a bit sunk into landscape-fault on my system?
Donnelly Dome PF57-disconnect  in pipe halfway down airstrip
Seen in both P3D 3.4 Hotfix2 and FSX
Some bleeding of water textures onto runway at Arctic Angel 9AK4 in P3D
Still cannot get Dougs Floatplanes to appear at Fairbanks PAFA!
These are all relatively minor points
Enjoying flying this area very much

Use the vector configuration tool on 5BK...look at the BWEP master map on the page. Any airport with a V in the right column must be adjusted with it.

Please provide screenshots and lat and long. Greatly helps us troubleshoot and ends guesswork on our part.

Thanks,

Any specific scenery anomalies like those concerning water showing weird elevations, roads in water, etc. is all related to the "Vector" side of the FTX Global equation. Are you using FTX Global? Along with FTX Global "Vector"?

I can address the sunken  pipeline at 5BK. That is designed that way. I sunk the sections below ground there to allow better clearance on final approach for aircraft using that side of the runway at Black Rapids Lodge.

The key to this is the "sunken terrain" at 5BK... and it will break the pipeline. You have to use the VECTOR CONFIGURATION TOOL on some of these airports. The problem is not the scenery, it is Vector.

Hi All
Thanks for all the prompt replies
5BK fixed with Vector Configurator tool-looks good now
Other slight problems still outstanding
For info running Pilots Mesh 2010
Using all available Orbyx items,FTX Global etc
Anomaly in pipe at PF57 at N63. 50.58' W145 44.27' to N63 50.68' W145 44.24'
Anomaly at 9AK4 at N64 8.04' W145 49.81'

Try disabling your Pilot's 2010 mesh before flying the Richardson Highway segment.  See if the breaks disappear.  Let us know.  Thanks.

Would this adjustment be ENABLE or DISABLE AEC?

Hi xxd09

did you in FTXcentral tick the insertion point ?
if your RTMM are lower the ORBX sceneries it's normal to report BUG  ??

i go on coordonate map N63° 50.58' & W145° 44.27'

and then my insertion Point

....................

As you see RTMM work is a good job, Obviously, they didn't do it.

I use also all ORBX Sceneries

Have à good Week-End

I have that same breaks at PF57 that xxd09 has. This is the very first break that I've noticed. I have no 3rd party mesh installed whatsoever. Truth be told, I can live with one or two breaks here and there and not get excited about it.

The anomaly at 9AK4 at the coordinates that xxd09 posted isn't an anomaly, it is supposed to be like that. The runway purposely traverses the water there. Pretty neat, huh?

Brad,
Just go to the coordinates in the OP. (I'm on my laptop now so can't provide screenshots.)

N63. 50.58' W145 44.27' and N63 50.68' W145 44.24'

Very small breaks.

Don't know why Patrick doesn't have them.
