BWEP P001M Dispatch - Oil leak????
« on: December 02, 2016, 10:40:34 AM »
Have been flying P001M, oil leak, dispatch and have not been able to see the oil leak.  I have used the scenery checker and have verified that I can see the BWEP objects.  I have flown the route both ways multiple times, flying at less than 100 feet AGL down the middle of the pipeline service road, with an airspeed of around 35 knots.

I have used the Dispatch Selector to activate the P001M dispatch (it is listed in the green Active Dispatches section).  My flight sim is P3Dv3.4.  I have tried P002E and it works fine.

Any suggestions????

Regards,

Danny

Yes.  Flew the route again this morning with no luck.  Mostlikely something simple, just don't know what at this point.

Loaded latest lib and it now works.  However I am now missing some function between pipeline sections.

Hi Danny,
Glad you got the leak fixed.  ;D  I can only guess what "missing some function between pipeline sections" means though.  Can you post pictures of your issue?  ???  Thanks.  :)

I believe the missing files are "link" files.  A picture is attached.  I also ensured FreeMesh - NA was switched off.

Found the source of the issue.  The latest BWEP library file appears to have a mistake in the name of one of the files.  This file is:  FSXP3D BWEP PIPES_ANGLES.

The extension is listed as bg rather than bgl.  Once I changed the extension to bgl the angles were filled in.

Might want to check the latest library dated 12.02.16.

Regards,

Danny

Thanks!  I confirm the "L" is missing from that file in the latest BWEP Library zip file.   ;)

My fault for the typo. I made a tweak to something and left of the "l". I'm sure Doug will fix it after he reads this. Thanks for pointing this out!

Yup, that's all.. just rename FSXP3D BWEP PIPES_ANGLES.bg

to

FSXP3D BWEP PIPES_ANGLES.bgl and all is good.

Beautiful scenery packages guys: and even found P001M, P002E, P003M, P004S, and P005S so far..
P006E and P007S next!!.   A BWEP.csv in Dieter's Corner would be a great add for all the POI. .lol..
