Got another question for either you or Dex:

Has anyone figured out how to tame the smoke on the Leconte and I assume the Matanuska (I haven't actually seen it yet but assume it's the same); at a distance it looks like a large dirty fuzz ball. The RTMM shipping models don't do this so they are obviously calling a different smoke texture. Can it be replaced?

I noticed the same problem with the AI planes I brought into p3d using  thenicksmoke effect and just turned it off for now.

You can edit the effect file in notepad.  Make a backup copy and play away.

Any idea which effect file is being called for the Leconte smoke?
It's not obvious looking at the aircraft.cfg

Edit:  Never mind  :) I figured out how to turn it off - will play with it later......

Got another request re Tongass boats - for Dex...
I've noticed I have no wakes for the little Tongass boats; the 20, 30 and 40 footers.
Don't see them very often so not a problem - but if you have them Dex, would appreciate copies,
