Red Boat Wakes at Halibut Cove

Hi to RTMM

Got a shiny new computer
Installed the latest prepar3d v3
Got all my ORBX stuff installed
Been installing the RTMM sceneries
Got the shipping project with the 3.1 wake fix

But when I installed the Halibut Cove scenery and went to take a look around the boats have the red wakes
I added the Ground Decal=1 to the effects file but there must be something else because I still have the red wakes.
What to try next....

Did what you suggested and had already applied that fix
I think it only applies to the boats in the "RTMM Shipping Projects"?
Doesn't look like the boats in the Halibut Cove Scenery were included in the fix?

The boats at Halibut are using a different version of AI (like Tongass Fjords)  the wake used by the fishing boats is: fx_wake_AI_fishing Boat.fx  and the Danny J and Stormbird use fx_wake_AI_Marignan.fx

The effects that I sent you are the ones that I use.  I do not see red wakes at halibut.

Played around with the halibut cove boats some more (stormbird and danny j) and no matter what I try I still get the red wake, Even tried completely removing the effects section from the cfg file and still get the red wake, It,s almost like the wake is hardwired into that boat.

Hi Dexthom,

Thanks for the info - that's exactly how mine reads. Think this is a lost cause - something on my setup doesn't display the wakes on that particular boat. All the other RTMM shipping boats are right and Henrik's Global Shipping package works. It's only that one boat that is a problem.

Well, not exactly true because none of the Tongass Fjords boats have any wakes at all  ??? so It's got to be a setting peculiar to my setup.

What version of P3D are you running?  I am attaching the config file that will cover the Danny J and Storm Bird.

Edit: Damn  :) That was it.....!!!!
The effects section in your config was different then mine - the touchdown= section was totally different. It works now  :P

Got another question/request - I see you have a texture for a boat called the Dutch Treat - any chance I could get a copy of that texture please??

Reason I ask is I use to know a couple who ran a charter boat with that name - small world huh?
