The spray 'clumps' and also dirt clumps are indeed unrealistic and there is a way to omit them that was posted in 2011 on the OZx site.
This link will take you to the Utilities section of OZx and scroll down to about the middle of the files and find
1. Remove clumps from dust effect
2. Remove clumps from wheelsnow spray effects

They will rid you of the unrealistic clumps.

Spud.

I did download and apply the remove clumps from wheelsnow spray effects you were referring to. It didn't cure the unrealistic clumps from the plane floats etc.  The original spray effect file was already/previously backed up. So. I'm not sure what's next for the water splash effect?.
I didn't download and install the clumps from the dust effects. My dust effects on land is fine.

If Jeff is the expert with the water/splash effect files. Maybe he could/might chime in here as well.

Hi Steve. No, my scenery folder shows spring.off, winter.bgl,  but my scenery switcher shows Spring as the active season...switched it after I installed the scenery. I'll re-switch it and see what happens now that I know that that's the problem.
                                       Thanks, JJ

Hi All
Can I put in my penny's worth
I too got water coming up the bank on right side of runway
Disabling FSGlobal 2010 Pilots Mesh cured the error for me-occurred in both my P3Dv3.4 and FSX setups.
The only problem I have currently is in my P3Dv3.4 setup -my FSX is OK
If I am on the end of the runway facing West the runway texture disappears ie between the windsock and the lake.
Facing/landing East- all is OK

xxd09,
Can you post a screenshot of your problem please?

Does anyone else using P3D have this particular runway issue?

Screenshots please. Please also provide ground altitude of the offending drop off/drop out.

Thanks!

Steve, bet it us that path to the hangar. I'll pull it when I get back. I saw it too, not a big prob actually. Reentry restriction to my home community was lifted today, heading back tomorrow. Still no internet at home.

Hello,

On the ground or at very low altitude, I see the track ... If I move a little, there is now only grass ...

Not a big problem indeed.
Welcome back to Doug ;)

No matter what I do, or from any angle or altitude, I can't replicate the issue in FSX. Must be some slight difference FSX vs P3D. I doubt it has something to do with the path to the hangar, but more like something to do with terrain rendering. That's why I wanted to know what the altitudes in the various screen shots are. Also, do you get the same dropout in all view modes? How about with different aircraft or at different zoom levels?

Handie,
You need to download the BWEP object library because you are missing some signs and runway lighting.

I do not understand because this objects library is enabled in the sceneries library of P3D  ::)

Edit : I just looked, I did not have the latest version with Klutina Ouftfitters included.
I downloaded and installed, thank you.

So the problem appears at altitudes less than 200'? At any zoom level?
