Well, I left it out, I didn't find this entry in "property" of the P3D SDK, section [propeller]

http://www.prepar3d.com/SDK/SimObject%20Creation%20Kit/SimObject%20Container%20SDK/Aircraft%20Configuration%20Files.htm#propeller
Many greetings
Dieter

Wow, that's helpful. I have the SDK, but never really used it. This is educational. You know a lot more about P3D than I do for sure. Maybe you can help me figure out something. I have a Piper Apache Floater ported to P3D. In FSX it works normally. In P3D, at 35 to 40 knots, the controls stop responding. The rudder and yoke don't move. If I chop the throttle, when it slows down again, they free up. I'm pulling my hair out, this is so strange.
 Thanks

Well, to clarify I'm not an expert in this stuff!

But,
- is this a freeware or a payware model? Which one exactly?
(some payware models like thoses ones from A2A give serious problems to get an FSX version running in P3D)
- how did you port over? Just copying from FSX to P3D or did you use a migration tool?
Many greetings

Actually it's Bill Lyon's old FS9 Piper Apache. I redid all the guages with FS Panel Studio, and fixed the windows with DXT Bitmap.  So after doctoring the Apache, it's just copied into Simobjects/Airplanes. I've been using it in FSX for a coons age, and in P3D since version 1.
The wheeled version is fine, (in P3D 3.49) but the float verstion is being strange. I just decided to put the float version in P3D after RTMM...

Oh, a FS9 model ...
Gauges and texture doesn't seem to be the problem.
I assume the problems are in the aircraft.cfg or even in the appropriate xxx.air file.
Many greetings

It's weird, if I go to the map, and put the plane in the air at say 2000 ft and 125 knots, it's fine. I have control, until I touch the water again, boom frozen controls. Drop under 30, they work again. Something with the water in P3D. No big deal, I have  plenty of other float planes. It's just frustrating. Look at the avatar, you'll understand.  I love that old Apache.
 LOL

Got it! It was the contact points. I cheated, stole the contact points from the Twotter cfg, then played with the vertical height until I wasn't hovering.
Took a bit of playing to get the height right, but it answers the controls and takes off now !
 HOO-HAH!  BWA_HA_HA !

Sorry,  I must correct myself:

This aircraft version is still MKI (in updated version 2)
So she doesn't have "reverse" in reality!
