Misty`s Place scenery Problem
« on: August 19, 2016, 03:44:05 AM »
HELP,
I have no idea what I've done, I install OZx NA, and the scenery seemed to change about the same time.
I took OZx NA off and the problem is still there.
I've uninstalled Misty`s Place and install a new copy, still the same problem.
Sorry my screen shots are poor, I had to reduce them is size to be able to attach them.
My test scenery is all okay, and all showing.
Is this a priority problem where I have placed OZx, ORBX LIBS,????
I'm really at a huge loss as to what of done tinkering?
PAWG is perfect, so there is no problem with Tongass.
I'm using P3d3.5

First thing to check is that ALL RTMM scenery locations are placed above any and all OZx and ORBX scenery entries in the FSX Scenery Library.

Here is the order recommended by ORBX in "The Definitive Guide"  which you can access from FTX Central V2 lower left corner (ORBX GUIDE).

Hi Spud,

I've put all OZx_Aus, OZx_LiBs, OZx_NA, below RTMM scenery, all RTMM is top priority, Tongass X is below all FTX. Still it appears the same as if I've got another scenery over the top of Misty`s Place. I have all the buildings at Misty`s, but I've got a couple of palm trees up the runway, something that looks like roads crossing through the runway, a raised helicopter platform, something that resembles a carpark at one end of the Runway.
I used the insertion point to move OZx down in FTX Central 2, and checked things were where they were meant to be in my scenery library.
I've No idea.
I disabled all OZx at one point and the problem was still there.
Any other suggestions.

Spud,

All fixed, It took all day, and a few screams from the Co-Pilot, but after using the insertion point in FTX Central and following your guide it worked.
For some reason P3d seems to have wanted to put things in its own order, until I used the insertion guide.
Thanks so much, I love my hobby and love the world of Misty Moorings.

BJ ... thanks for sharing the problem. Others may have this problem and Spud did a great job looking into it. Hopefully this thread can help others.
