Trees in water Tongass Fjords p3d v3.3.5
« on: June 17, 2016, 10:10:34 AM »
I've installed it twice, repaired it twice

I have checked my terrain.cfg everything is correct
I have assured that the higher/lower priority is correct

still i have trees in my water. no water at all

to even compound matters I can't even run the fsaddon configurator program, just a little white box pops open and thats it.

Any ideas? I guess, it's not meant to happen for me, cause I don't know what is going on.

I installed it with the migration tool, I have win 10 64 bit and p3d v3.3.5

If anyone can help, that would be great.

Hi, if you  ?? all correct !

look at the number of the sceneries in the top of the cfg, if it's the same at the bottom number in the text note pad .
it will be above the same at the bottom  ;)

Just a WAG (wild A@@ guess) but P3D v 3.3.5 is brand new is it not?
Might be tha its not been made compatible yet.  ORBX staff was away to Air Daily in the U.S. for the past week and just now getting back to work.

Here's a shot of Sitka in P3Dv3.3.5.  When I upgraded, I just replaced the client.  When you get trees in the water, the problem is the terrain.cfg.  Just 1 character out of place = trees in water.

+1 dexthom
I'm also with P3D3.3.5 no prob.. on TONGASS and i installed all the new version P3D3.3.5, not only the client !
only i save LM/ P3D/ Progdata and Appdata/LM /Roaming of the 3.2 , after the installation i delete the new files and place my Version 3.2 LM/ P3D/PROGDATA & Appdata/LM /Roming in  P3Dv3.3.5

that all and work fine : Take a Look at PASI SITKA

Your terrain.cfg :

[General]
DefaultTextureCount=1054
AutogenCount=60

//------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Constants

and the last  position

// ORBX FTX NZ POLY LC87
[Texture. 1054 1053]
Name=LC87_Irrigated_Fields_NW-SE
Color=FFB22E30
guid={6B093FB7-9BED-414d-8A28-A4F7BAA1EB1A}
Textures=ORBX_IRRIGATED_FIELDS_NW-SE
ExcludeAutogen=No
RenderToTexture=Yes
RenderPriority=30000
Water=No

Patrick, Since the texture count is 1054 and first entry is [Texture.0] the last one would be [Texture.1053]

Quote
[General]
DefaultTextureCount=1054
AutogenCount=60

//------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Constants

and the last  position

// ORBX FTX NZ POLY LC87

The modified terrain.cfg was in the root of P3Dv3.3.  instead of the Program Data folder.  The problem has been corrected.
