Oh, I thought it was all clear with this:
http://forum.mistymoorings.com/index.php?topic=1352.msg10455#msg10455

But anyway, here is what to do:

- Start up Plan-G
- Click on "Data"
- Click on "Manage"
"Manage user way points" window appears with "Import" and "Export"  buttons

- Click on "Import"
- Navigate to where you placed the wanted  "xxxx.csv" file
- double click this file
-  A note will appear: "Imported xxx of xxx records"

Good luck!
Many greetings
Dieter

Just a heads up when you are at Dieter's Corner on the .csv section look at the bottom of the first 'box' with the RTMM location .csv files.  The last choice is:

ALL CSV FILES FOLDER - All of the above in a single download.

Choosing this will download a .zip file with all the .csv files from both sections on Dieter's Corner.  Save it and unzip it.
Only one download required but you still need to import each .csv file separately.

Hi
Is there a reason why some but not all of the data points import. For example , some of the.csv file import completely while other just do 4 or 5 out of the group and some say 0 of 128 imported. What am I missing. this is definitely frustrating as these data points are such a good resource. I've tried over and over again but no consistant results.Does anybody else have trouble importing these?
thx Lee :-\

If it won't import certain files they are most likely already in the data base. I don't have Plan-G up right now but up in the top tool bar is re-fresh FSX data base or something similar. Run that.

I understand your problem but it isn't none:

PlanG import doesn't allow double entries which is a great advantage!
A  message like "10 of 15 imported" means PlanG recognized 10 new userwaypoints and accepted them while the other 5 ones have  already been imported with another csv file.
Basically I cannot exclude the possibility that some of my created userwaypoints have same names and coordinates and are placed in different csv files, they are just double listed. But this doesn't lead into problems. (no double entries possible)

This might have happened, but remember, the complete collection of my csv files holds about 5000 or more userwaypoints (POIs).
Many greetings

Well, one thing to make clear:
- csv files are userwaypoints only => I searched them and marked them on the map. These are no AFCADs!

On the contrary Misty's Place has an AFCAD in the software file: PF20.
- PF20_ADEP2_ADE.bgl
Maybe it's necessary to rebuild PlanG database.
