Emma field
« on: September 13, 2015, 08:10:05 PM »
For those who have been around simming  for a while over at Sim Outhouse they have a Emma Field scenery for FSX done by Falcon 409. I downloaded it and works with Orbx PNW so just a heads up if anyone's interested,  Blue Skies

It does work in P3D, but it is not a conversion or rebuild of the old Emma Field with all of its wonderful features.  It is basically a new rendition of that imaginary airport.  Fairly basic, but functional.

I don't want to sound ungrateful or arrogant to the author. This scenery is basically well done but I'm missing any recognition value against the original.
The scenery like it is now could be everywhere with any other name.
(sorry)
Many greetings

It is freeware and can be downloaded from http://www.sim-outhouse.com  You will have to register first but it is free.   Once logged in, click on Warbirds Library tab and look under FSX Scenery.  Right now, it is the very first listing.

It's a very nicely done scenery, but there's a big problem with this early version.

There's a big chunk of land in the Hood Canal.

Falcon409 and GaryGB ard working on it...

Hi All
Always on the lookout for a new field.
Downloaded this one fine into FSX
Loaded all the RTTM scenery libraries- 7!
Looks good - did a short flight to Cushman Meadows KCMW- another fictional field but Orbyx this time.
Shows the progress that has been made in Airport rendition- admittedly KCMW costs !
A worthwhile addition to the stable though.
Thanks for the heads up-I had not heard of Emma airstrip

clarify, Emma Field is not actually a RTMM scenery, I found it over at Sim Outhouse and it worked for me and so I thought I'd share it, but it is not to be confused with the work and the designers here. How's that for a disclaimer

Well, this is no surprise, this scenery is no RTMM product!
Many greetings
