Tim,
When you get the basics of the Scenery Config Editor under your belt (which are easy), here's a short video that demonstrates some slightly advanced and very useful options.

Hi Steve,

Thanks again for your help.  You are a legend! Does this Scenery Config Editor play havoc with FTX Central V2 at all?  Or is so you can just set up your scenery library within FSX?

Cheers,
Tim.

Tim,
here is a link to setting up RTMM files/libraries.  Note that in the picture of how and where to place Libraries and files that the number 3 shows old RTMM library names instead of the new names you download from that same page but the libraries are placed in the FSX\Addon Scenery folder.
The RTMM files are placed in a new folder you make (...FSX\Addon Scenery\Misty Moorings\Aiken Camp etc. etc.

Tim,
The editor reads the current scenery.cfg file and doesn't change anything until you edit or adjust them yourself. You save the changes abd FSX lods them the next time you run it. You can even make changes while FSX is running, go to the scenery library, justhit the OK button, and FSX will recompile your changes.
