A long time away..

It has been a long time since I visited Misty Moorings.  Certainly back in FS9 days and if you asked me to put a year on it..2005 perhaps?

Anyway..while browsing through my browser bookmarks recently MM popped up and I decided to check in.  It doesn't take long looking at the site to decide a flight or two are in order.  So after installing appropriate scenery and recalling "Hunters Cannery" as a destination many years ago I thought that would make a decent first flight.  The "real" weather wasn't so great to I let the GPS take the strain the island with Hunters Cannery came into sight and then navigated around it's southern tip.

A lot has changed.

The installation of the files is much more straight forward and the "Legacy Collection" make a great place to start.

I did attempt a flight to Forrester Island.  The radio antennae and some small buildings were visible on the island but I was expecting to see a small dock to park the aircraft (Beaver w.floats) alongside but I couldn't find anything?

Lionwing make sure you have all of our scenery objects installed and then verify your installation by using our scenery library objects tester scenery.

Report back your findings after taking these  steps please.

Thank you for the advice.

I had a few libraries missing but all sorted now with the exception of the one that it supplied with Tongass X...that will have to wait a while as I need to "get the bill payers" permission first!
