DoDosim B206 Repaint
« on: February 08, 2015, 11:58:33 AM »
Inspired by what Klaus did with the MD530, and since I had lost the other one when my hard disk crashed, I decide to re-do the Dodosim B206 to something a little snazzier.  Take a look and tell me what you think.  If you guys think it looks ok, I can submit it next week.

It looks great, . . . but . . . if you go down.  Nobody will be able to spot you.  (funny being green and white, in Alaska  ;D )

True, but hey, I didn't choose the RTMM colors  ;)  I just used them  ;D

Here's a little closer look at the "tree" pattern

And I added a little color in case of a crash  ;)

It looks beautiful.  When you land in the woods, the animals won't even know you're there.   :-X

I'm just kidding about the colors.  The paint job is great.  We love green and white around here.  Next round's on me.  I'm looking forward to St. Patrick's day myself.  Did I mention my last name is Greene?

I'll go now!   :o   ;D

Snazzy indeed Steve!  8) Excellent and creative paint job for my fave chopper! Can't wait to sport her with this new outfit...  Gotta stay camouflaged from those curious or hungry grizzlies Jeff  ;)

Thanks for the comments guys.

Well, I'm wrapping it up today.  There were some "corrections" I had to make to align the paint and the .bump file around the fuel filler and to make a few corrections to the hinge colors on the baggage door.  I'll write up the "readme" and to package it all up into a zip file.

Klaus, should I send this to you for "quality control" and to build the installation on the site?  If not, can you tell me who to send it to.

Thanks

Thanks Doug.  I'll finish it up and include a readme, cover picture, and a short blurb for the download.  Hopefully I'll have the package ready by tomorrow.

I think I might tackle something more "mundane" like the tried and true R-22 next. (if I can come up with a great design for it  ;D)

Although in the notams, just for the sake of this thread, Steve's repaint is available to all in the Enhancements page.
