Owikeeno Lake Area Updated

Owikeeno Lake area updated

This whole package is now compatible with FSX, FSXDX10 and Prepar3D.  The PF50 Pacific Gateway airport has been totally revised. It now has an NDB at 344 (PAGA) to help you navigate in that area.  There is also night lighting at PF50 in case you are running late ... after sunset, you'll still be able to find it and land with the NDB and lighting.

There's this file in the folder:
CVX_PF50_Large_Area_Flatten_BGL

Is that correct?
(or should it be ...._Flatten.bgl?)

Nope, that is not correct ... good eye!  I took it out and replaced the file up on the server. I was working on the airport for the whole day yesterday and couldn't figure out why the one area didn't flatten ... now I know!  Thank you!

Hello  ;)

In the folder, I do not have CVX_PF50_Large_Area_Flatten_BGL or CVX_PF50_Large_Area_Flatten.BGL files but I have a file PF50_ADEX_JDLad4
Is this correct ?

Hi Handie.  The .ad4 extension is the "work files" so if a change is needed in the  bgl for PF50 it can be made. I guess folks won't need that, so I've taken it out. It is a benign (not operative) file for the scenery. Thank you.

Doug,
getting confusing on these files for me.  I just downloaded the latest Oweekeno scenery today 6/16/14, and as Handie mentions there is no CVX_PF50_Large_Area_Flatten.BGL file in the download now.  The only files with PF50 related data I see are:

CVX_PF50_Texture.bgl
PF50_ADEX_JDL.BGL

I am assuming that the previously mentioned flatten file was, as you say only a work file and the data has been incorporated within the files listed above.
Perhaps the download with the bad file name discussed in this thread was only a testing file for we BETA testers??

Trying to install this area from scratch since it's been updated in November...
I find two PF50_ADEX_JDL.BGL files inside the zipped package - one in the 'Owikeno Lake Area/scenery' folder, the other one astray outside of it. File hashes are also different. Which one should I use?

Thanks!

Go with the one inside the scenery folder ... I've taken the other one out from the download now. thank you for spotting that.
