I have a fresh install of 2.2.
Using FTXGlobal 1.2 and GA airports.
The Latest Orbx LIBS
Orbx Regions PNW and NCA
OZx PNW  airports and LIBS
FSAddon Tongass
REX4
EZDok
And waiting for ActiveSky Next for P3DV2.2…should be out soon.
This is the same setup as I had using 2.1
The difference using 2.2 is a large one in my experience so far. Now I can use my “ vegetation “ slider set to ultra and still manage to get in the FPS in the  50´s ( before this was impossible with FPS in the low teens and very poor performance not to mention OMM )  and a smooth experience it is and a lovely sight to see all those trees.  For some reason in 2.1 my FPS was not as high as in 2.0 not that it was low but, now with 2.2…everything is back and with maxed sliders as well. The great thing is using aircraft shadows and internal shadows, I am not getting FPS hits here with 2.2.
I have always been a huge fan of P3Dv2 and how it offers much more depth than FSX and now with the latest 2.2 out,  I can´t be happier with the improvements and to think it´s only going to get better. The LM crew seem to have the funds and willingness to only improve P3DV2 with very nice results I might add.
Now, to the part that does brings my humble PC to its knees… the cloud shadows.  I have only a few hours in 2.2 and have noticed only positive results over 2.1. The new cloud shadows and it´s sliders in 2.2 is going to take some experimenting to find the sweet spot. The eye candy using cloud shadows is yummy, but the FPS hit on my machine is a note worthy one but, I WILL find the sweet spot.
Now, all I need is some RTTM sceneries that I know are in the works.

Hi dear Robert
if you have crash or OOM  go to site Applications you installed and donwload all patch make by each
theire is a patch for Active Sky Next   beta spécial V2.2 and other application external ....

and also read this  for the slider and shadows   ;) http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=6340

and how to before installation  http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=6354

I recommend manually deleting the following folders for v2:

• %PROGRAMDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
• %LOCALAPPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
• %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
• %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Prepar3D v2 Files

The shaders have been versioned for this release (they will automatically regenerate), but it does not hurt to clear them as I have advised.

Robert,
In your above list, it looks like that you have EZDOK working for P3D2.2. Is that correct? There's a few discussions at the EZDOK forum regarding not being able to get it to work in P3D2.2. How did you do it?

I just used the EMT as I did in V2.1...it all worked for me.

I did install the latest Hotfix concerning the flight planner and needed to re-install EZdok which I did  without a hitch and works as normal.

Flightsim Estonia Migration Tool  ;)

FSX to P3D migration tool.

Overview from EMT manual-
Quote
In  January  2009,  Microsoft  decided  to  axe  Flight  Simulator's development team.  Their new simulator, Microsoft Flight proved to be sub-par and earned general shunning from serious flight  simulation  community.  Fortunately,  Lockheed  Martin meanwhile  picked  up  the  old  Flight  Simulator  and  is  actively developing it further, now under the name of Prepar3D.  In its core, Prepar3D shares many traits with former Flight Simulator X and FSX's addons almost always function properly in Prepar3D.  Still, several crucial configuration files have changed their  name  and  location,  and  so  old  installation  programs written  for  FSX  don't  work  for  Prepar3D.  Some  development teams  have  already  released  updated  installers,  others  have long time ago disbanded and no Prepar3D compatibility updates will ever be released.

With FSX to Prepar3D Migration Tool, you will be able to use  all  those  FSX  addons  in  Prepar3D.  FSX  to  Prepar3D Migration  Tool creates  a  virtual  FSX  installation  pointed  to Prepar3D.  Everything you install into or change in the virtual folder will appear or get modified in Prepar3D.
This  truly  is  the  best  of  both  worlds  –  a  wide  selection  of superb FSX addons combined with new and evolving Prepar3D flight simulator.

Just remember that ORBX/FTX software installed into P3D using EMT or any other third party tool will not recieve support from ORBX.  Although it probably works just fine ORBX  has catagorically stated they will not support thier software installed with anything but FTX triple installers.  Many are yet to be released but they are working on the installers as rapidly as possible.
