CIRP Mission Press Release
For Immediate Release

virtual Air Logistics (A VA making a difference in the flight sim community) announces its upcoming CIRP virtual supply mission.  This upcoming mission consists of a virtual contract awarded to virtual Air Logistics to re-supply the ice stations of the CIRP (Cambria Icefield Research Project) for March, April and May.

If you are looking to add an additional layer of realism to your flight simulation involvement, vAL has the mission for you.  Our vAL missions involve team work and coordination to be successful and we are seeking pilots who want to add this additional level of participation to their overall flight sim experience.   This is much more than just flying and filing PIREPs.  Complete coordination between our Mission Director and Pilots to provide just the right amount of cargo between our staging areas of Ketchikan, Alaska (PAKT) and Stewart, British Columbia (CZST).  From Stewart our pilots support and supply the ten ice stations making up the CIRP operation.

This is a joint effort between our virtual airline http://virtualairlogistics.org/  and the awesome freeware scenery site (RTMM) http://return.mistymoorings.com/ .  vAL and RTMM have enjoyed a partnership allowing our individual members to have the best of both worlds with awesome freeware scenery and an extremely relaxed virtual airline to log and accumulate flight time.

Want to know more about virtual Air Logistics?  vAL officially began operations on 1 June 2013.  Our goal is to start small and grow our virtual airline based on membership and activity levels.  vAL is currently hiring virtual pilots who enjoy a more relaxed and fun filled flight simulation experience.

Why vAL?  vAL offers the virtual pilot a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.  We fully understand that many things in life come before our hobbies.  vAL never expects you to put your virtual aviation career ahead of faith, family, work, school and other life commitments.  We offer schedules ranging from just 30 minutes of flying time up to 2-4 hours.  We have been slowly expanding our operations to include short to mid-range cargo jet aircraft including the MD-83SF, Boeing 737and will soon unveil our new Boeing 757 along with new cargo routes.

Like Bush Flying?  vAL offers all types of bush flying throughout Alaska, British Columbia and Idaho utilizing fixed wing aircraft such as the Cessna C208, Cessna C185, Piper Cub and even offer a DC-3 in our expanding fleet of aircraft.  Yes…vAL also offers routes to those who enjoy heli operations.

We are counting down the days to the start of the CIRP supply mission.  We kick it off on 1 March.  If you are interested in participating, please head over to virtual Air Logistics.  If you are currently a vAL Pilot, just check into the forum and look in the "Missions" section for the CIRP thread.  Post a short message in that thread and our Mission Director will get you on the list.

If you are not currently a vAL Pilot.  There is no better time than now to sign up.  We are very relaxed in our policies and flight commitments.  Please check us out!  Apply Today!  We'll get you flying ASAP.
