Avsim Scenery Files
« on: February 14, 2011, 10:32:22 AM »
Hi all.

I use FSX on my computer at home and FS9 on my computer at my beach house. Yeh I know I am lucky to have two houses but I am married to a woman who believes in bricks and mortar for saving her money. Anyway I found out all about RTMM and Brad's scenery package for PNW from the Orbx and OZX forums which I have downloaded, installed and enjoying very much (thanks to all concerned).

Now I want to do some exploring in FS9. I have been to the old Misty Moorings Inc. site and downloaded the scenery files that are available. I tried to download the ones hosted on Avsim but in each case, I got a message that the files were no longer available. Are these files hosted anywhere else or if someone has them and would not mind putting them up on a web hosting site like 4shared.com (it is free), I would be very grateful.

Cheers

Bernie.

OK, for the record, the "old" site Misty Moorings. Inc http://www.mistymoorings.com is for FS9 only.  You can go there and the files should download ok.

Don't try to download any of our things from "other" sources, they aren't linked right half the time.  Give this a try.  If you are really wanting the FS9 files and are having a problem, Look down the page on the HOME page for this forum and you'll see a forum for Misty Moorings, Inc.  We'll handle any troubleshooting from those threads so things won't get mixed up here,.

Hi all

I have found most of the missing files. Everything done by Leon seems to have been deleted as apparently he has passed away. I checked out www.flightsim.com and managed to find them there and a whole lot more besides. He was a very prolific scenery maker and aircraft repainter.

Cheers
