Hi Restless,

Welcome to RTMM.   I think you will really enjoy this site.  There are a lot of friendly people and you can get a response pretty quickly.

I live in Florida and it is pretty flat also.   Kinda hot now but great in the winter!  The good news is that the temperatures are much cooler in Misty Moorings area and the bush/hills/glaciers are a lot of fun.

Look forward to hearing more from you in the future.

Rod

Welcome Jan,
We have members from all over the world.  It's good to add another pin in the map for Netherlands.  You're gonna like it here.  Get a cup of coffee and read the forums.  Any questions you may have will be answered.  I advise to take your time and install a couple of destinations first.  Then fly to them, and add more each day.  There are, I think, about 147 or so locations now.  Install the object libraries first so everything will show up right.  See you on the screenshots thread.  Welcome again. 8)

Zoran, JJ, Jan,
been while since I checked the forums so I'll also add my welcome aboard to RTMM with the rest of the guys and gals here.  Bushflying at its finest for sure.  I guess Restless (Jan) is the latest newbie and has to buy the beer until replaced with the next "Bushie" to come to RTMM.

Hello fellow RTMM simmers,

I'm new to Misty Moorings, but not to FSX. I've been downloading some of the RTMM scenery and objects and getting things set up within Tongass Fjords, PFJ, and FTX PAKT, and I have to say . . . 'Thanks' for all the hard work and effort that has gone into this project. I've had a ball today just flying into some of the locations, such as Misty's Place, Yes Bay Lodge, Hollis, exploring new details within Ketchikan Harbour, etc. So much fun!

I live near KPDX, in the rural Oregon (USA) countryside. I hope to hang around the forum and learn a few things, and maybe even contribute a little.

By the seat of my pants,

Welcome aboard Ted,
good to have yet another bush flyer at RTMM I think you will find a 'second home' with the great bunch who sit around the bar at Misty's Place and swap flying yarns while enjoying that virtual 'cold one'.  By the way, you do know the new guy buys the beer!  Looking forward to your efforts for the group.

Welcome, Ted!

We look forward to your interaction and any future contributions.  I bet you have been flying some of the ORBX scenes in your area.  I just flew into the updated Stark's last night and the new coloring is superb!

You will find everyone quite helpful so if you have any quesitons...just post 'em and you will see a response pretty quickly.  I am sure you will enjoy some of the great scenes in Southeast Alaska courtesy of RTMM as well as the great ORBX and Tongass Fjords scenery packages.

Hi Rod,

I live just a few hundred meters from 7S3. I thought I saw you buzzing the back of my property!  ;)

Anyway, I've been getting familiar with the RTMM area by simply running some flight plans from Misty's Place and PAKT. I'm really impressed by all of the add-on scenery. And I already thought PFJ and Tongass were already excellent. Now they've really come alive! What fun!

Thanks to all for the welcome.

A warm welcome to all the newcomers.  I'm still recovering from a bad hangover, after all the new rounds of virtual beer!   :-)

Ted, that must have been you posting the flipped aircraft at Starks over at the FTX forum.  I'll be driving past Starks on Monday, traveling up to Seattle.  I may have to make a small side trip and actually see it for myself.

Again, welcome all.
