« on: August 31, 2013, 03:13:45 AM »
Hi

I just clicked on the link to the worldwide airport webcams on the 'Mistys place' and got the following message:

The requested URL /webcam-north-america/alaska/alaska-2.html was not found on this server.

Just wanted to let you know.

Loving the site guys  :)

Hi Minx ... I guess their link is just defective. I cannot get it to work, so I've eliminated the link. This is exactly the kind of thing we are looking for ... so if you see anything else, let us know.  Much appreciated.

Hi Doug
Does this mean i'm allowed to suggest a link that does work? I guess you have to request to add the site as a link on yours?

Absolutely!!!  We kind of think of RTMM as "ours" ... not "mine" ... so if you see something that should be there, let us know and we'll try to make it work.

Hi Doug
Looks like the following link works    http://www.airportwebcam.net/
I think this might be the same one as you originally had, but the link to Alaska may be different.
Ive checked several links from this main root web address and they seem to work.
Hope it helps
Minx  :)

And this is why RTMM is such a great place to be associated with IMHO.   Thanks for the new link Minx, and thanks Doug for posting it up for all of us.

No worries, anytime. Glad its up and working again :)
I particularly liked the page for 'Misty Fjords' on the cam list. Although the cams appear down this morning there are Streetview links and you can still go wandering using the Yellow Man at street level. Still feels slightly odd peering into peoples gardens though...
Haven't managed to get any action from the ATC links yet but I am viewing on a tablet so maybe its a Flash thing  ???
Have a great day all
