B206 at Halibut Cove

Owikeno lake and HYL was my favorite place to fly, but now I spend 1 hour fly at 2 knots over all the houses, and THANKS for use always solids piers

Glad your enjoying HC scenery via rotary wing flight not much better way to sight see IMHO.

yes, I totally agree. A helicopter is perfect for flying over Halibut Cove to see all the Details ....and there`s so much to see.

Did you find the Halibut Cove helipad in the scenery?

Very nice shot!  And Klaus, yes I found the helipad, but now it's in need of repairs!    :'(

Oopsss.......well, my Cera Bell 412 was parked on it....I have to g outside ans check if it`s already in good condition... :) ;D


The helipad is a bit challenging... you should approach from 090 or 100 very slow...about 40 kts.

I guess I have something to look forward to in FSX. I have yet to master flying a helicopter. If there were police in the air they'd pull me over for drunk flying. Haven't tried it in a couple of years, though...maybe one of these days I'll try it again.  ::)
