Rather than hijack Jeff's Africa thread any further, here's a shot of some Pacific bush. The volcano is just across the water from the end of the Tokua, Papua New Guinea airstrip. It's got about 4 stages of eruption - the white and red burst shown here, a plume of black smoke, a narrower black plume with flying rocks and a black smoke/red burst. Very neat. Just off the port wingtip at about 10 o'clock, there's another sea level 'eruption'. I don't know whether it's a blowhole or simply steam but it certainly adds to the activity in the area.
There are 39 airports and 18 waterports/helipads scattered throughout the region. They're all based on real locations and range from sea level strips to some at over 11,500', all short to medium length. There's even a helipad at 11,527' for Klaus to play on!
For those interested, the package is Raw Grit: PNG Bushpilot/Extreme Bush Pilot from Pacific Island Simulations. I've only scratched the surface but it looks like a lot of challenging fun.
Love the tail paint on the Twotter. Skin also available at PIS. All settings are default for water. Haven't played with that, yet. Did add a PNG mesh, though.
