And before anyone grumblies about the shiny skins... what do you expect right out of the main base spray shop?

Give me a few flights up to wherever and you'll get dirties too. ;)

It's bad enough struggling with shiny-bum beavers that can in no way be painted dirty. Those Aerosoft tetures are so glossy, even dirt looks good.

I am still working on the guys who actually did the Beaver. They're bending slowly... Their only problem is their thinking that the Beaver will not sell well enough to warrant the efforts. Oh well - Misty's has already been marked as a "quaint niche" in the market.

Sibwings' model I think - before they became famous. It's still the first (Fs8 or 9) model.

This plane really begs the OrbX Redux treatment and/or a new mdl. Another thing I discovered this morning (and I was on the FSX beta test - for SHAME on me!!!) each different version has slight variations so that you actuall need more than one paintkit. On the wheelie ones, for instance, the fuselage sides, top and bottoms match differently to the floaty ones. And apart from the gloss being regulated by the spec alpha annd not the diffuse alpha and the bumps being so grainy and the stbd wing strut not bolted on to the fuselage and the door stiffener bulges "floating" and the floats being phototextures...

...it's still a lovely plane!

Really really really need A2A to make a Beaver...

It really surprises me that the original guys really think it wouldn't sell, considering how popular the current one seems to be.  :o

'Popular' is relative I think. Build a 737 and you sell a few thousand. Build a Beaver and you may touch a few hundred.
