A Visit to Nisga'a

Having documented my crash landing abilities, I thought I'd share one that didn't end quite as tragically. Such fun flying into these great places!

Aaaron ... I put a link up for your video at the Scenery location for it. Great video ... nice landing too!  I'm still coming down through the sceneries ... slowly, making the trip tics, etc. So I hadn't seen this one yet ... that was fun and a great preview ... I may have to skip ahead and try that one sooner than later!  Thanks for the video.

The pleasure was all mine. The work you are putting in on the site, the scenery, the missions, and all the write-ups is really appreciated. I know I'm having a blast with them, and I know others are as well.

Aaron,

Great job on that approach and landing. Isn't that a great spot?? Kim really found us some excellent locations. Hat's off to him really. I just placed a few objects in his playground.

Loved it. Keep these little videos coming.

Hi Aaron,
very nice Video and a really perfect landing!!! Great! 8)

It´s a really nice place there. Did a trip to Nisga`a yesterday with the MD500.
O.k., I know! Landings with helicopters at this great spot is much easier! ;)
But a really nice place to fly!

That was fun! A2A's J3 by the looks, no? Have you been able to land the tundra wheelie on water and roll up to a sandbar or a beach yet?

Just for fun, after looking around Nisga'a, I climbed the glacier behind it then flew down a valley to starboard and wound my way back to Stewart going back up over the Bear Glacier there.  Sunset trip, really beautiful.  It is so aggravating that there are just no "way-points" back in those areas from the GNIS database.  If you guys know the names of things anywhere in BC, get them to me (Forum Trip Tics/FSDiscover! ... I'll put them into our new data base).

I'm enjoying flying "behind" Stewart ... what beautiful country it is back in there.

Thanks all, glad you enjoyed it. It is indeed the A2A bird sporting a paint I did some time ago. She's a great ship to see the sights in, and with the great scenery it's hard to go wrong.

I actually haven't even flown the tundra version believe it or not. All my time has been in the float and standard taildraggers. It's about time I rectified that oversight.
