Update for Instant Scenery v2
« on: May 02, 2012, 08:53:21 AM »
Noticed on another forum that Instant Scenery has an update.

"IS2 has been updated to 2.03, now available on the Flight One site."

Just wanted to make sure all the guru's that use IS2 were informed.  I have IS1 and missed the update for it when it was offered many moons ago.

Thanks Spud.  I was using my IS2 yesterday, and when I shut it down, it checked for updates and auto-updated for me.   8)

Not using IS2, only IS1. I hate the interface from version 2.

Hi Brad,

I used Instant Scenery 1 for Ketchikan Harbor but switched over to Instant Scenery 2 for Hollis.  At first I had the same feeling as you but now can't live without it.   It probably gives me a 10% increase in productivity over Instant Scenery 2 using the group copy and paste, direct mouse movement to place objetcts and favorite folders.   It is also much easier to choose to not supress autogen when placing an object.

Question Rod,
Can the not supress autogen be selected in IS1?  I looked briefly at the prgm. I have and did not see that as an option.  Of course as I said I do know that v1 was updated but I missed that and my copy is just the original IS which may not have the option available.  Then again I have not had my May Brain Fart yet so perhaps this is it.

HI spud,

The answer is yes.   Look for the options button when you have an object selected (blinking/outlined) and then I think you select the current object tab or something like that.
