Yeah, I'm +1 with Ian:  I'd love to see RTMM expand into the aforementioned areas.

And I think Rod has a beauty of an idea in putting a higher-res map of the proposed expansion terrain in the Map Room.

Marvelous plan, Brad!

Hi All,
Great plans and beautiful places!!! :)

I totally agree with Brad and Doug. The planned areas are really big enough to offer some nice places for the RTMM community. Even flying the PFJ area from its southern end to it`s almost northern ends need s more than 2 hours with my choppers. So for me even PFJ is a big place. Tongass FSX is excellent addon which is always really great experience flying there. And the area of SAK as planned seems to be a real beauty....can´t wait for Glacier Bay. I saw last week a TV-docu on german television...Wow, what a beautiful place...Glaciers, Whales and wilderness.

The only place I´d be interested at SAK are the southern areas of the yukon river up to Whitehorse if it`s in this package. I´m not sure if it`s a really nice place, but it smells a bit the tastes of the goldrush aera..

Anyway it seems the planned areas will bind my choppers and me to the Misty Moorings areas at least for a long time....I cannot imagine flying somewhere else since RTMM is online!! :)

Here's an update to our future expansion map. This show's the northern border in relation to the ORBX Southern Alaska coverage map. Really looking forward to this one when it's released.

Just to update things, we ARE going to cover the entire SAK region when that comes out. RTMM is possibly going to be involved in some of the beta testing for this huge region. I personally can't wait for this one!!

So disregard the map that I put up at the beginning of this thread. We are not just taking a slice out of this one, we will open up the entire region for RTMM development.

That is GREAT news!! I can't wait for the region to be released.

It's a very interesting region varied with mountains, snow, glaciers, deep blue sea, forests and lakes.
I am sure it will be a blast, especially with the RTMM team treatment.

I'm just a new guy around here, kind of feeling my way around, and I'm absolutely amazed at what I'm discovering nearly everyday as I explore the area. And now the news that the to-be-released Orbx SAK will be a part of RTMM's expansion plans is truly amazing and much anticipated! Sorry, but I'm as giddy as a kid at Christmas!

Thank you all!

Hot-cha-ma-ratt-cha!

This is almost mind-boggling, when you consider the scope of "our" expanded operational area!  It's marvelous to consider all the possibilities -- assuming it's possible to consider them all!  :o
