My only problem has been in the filing of the PIREP's no matter how I tried to do it, it seemed like it was wrong. Think it's best if I just step away for a bit and clear my head

So were do I go now, I see I was ''awarded'' the badge, but when I look at the PIREP list page the last 4 flights still show approval pending, so are those going to eventually be rejected, also by not filing thru the cigar box am I not given credit for the hours flown. So I don't know if I should go back and just fly the legs using the cigar box to be given credit for the hours  A couple of other thing while I'm at it, I am flying the flight plan as dictated by the cigar box or is it OK to fly direct. Also where my confusion is that I thought when flying on the tour page I thought I should file the PIREP on the tour page, but now correct me if I'm wrong I should file the PIREP cigar box, whether I'm flying the tour or just single legs???

The hardest thing I've found in the flying in the sim is lack of the sense's, for me trying to trim  out the aircraft much harder in the sim
and find myself chasing the needle on the vertical speed indicator. Much easier in the real world feeling the aircraft in the seat of my pants. I don't have an autopilot in any of the planes I fly in real life and don't feel I need them, but in the sim it's much harder to ''level'' out the plane

E6B, I still have the one I was sold when starting flight school, also my orig flight plotter, even though the plastic has yellowed and the painted portion being well worn and unusable. I still use the E6B in the cockpit, but have gotten lazy and rely on computers to do my flight planning. I do laugh when I see someone preparing for flight and see them with a laptop, or Ipad  and all sort electronic aids and wonder do they ever have time to look out front thru the wind screen

Thanks to Norm  and Henry for stickin' with it and not giving up on me. That's what I love about this site. Everyone here is willing to go the extra bit and not give up on someone in dire straits

OK  thanks Norm, so if I am understanding and I want the hours I just fly those two legs using the cigar box only and then proceed as you have explained using the tour center in conjunction with the cigar box for the rest of the tour

OK now I have another alligator  to slay, in my tour center page under tour legs it says I've completed leg 5 n' 6 for MFC0004, but on my pirep page it says those two legs have been rejected.  So when I file the pirep in the cigar box  or on the tour center page. One other thing  I just saw on my tour center page down at the bottom where it shows all the pilots and it shows a green sq and says landed, I'm showing landed all the way up to leg  7 on MFC0004. Or does any of this really matter that when I finish the last leg will I get the badge.

OK maybe I'm over thinking this, but I noticed when I did the first couple of legs on MFC0004 I was using the cigar box and well as logging on thru the tour process and was showing up as two flights and thought I was being given credit for two flights when it but one in the same.  Back when I started flying this I was just using the cigar box n' Norm tried to explain that I should be  logging onto the tour page and do it that way. Then Henry sent me a message asking why I didn't use the cigar box on one leg. I want to do this right, but I'm just finding the explanation on the Misty Flying Club page  part 1 installation and usage confusing. Vectors would be appreciated

So when I'm doing a tour I shouldn't even use the Cigar Box then,??

OK not sure why but I'm coming up with two pireps for each leg. I am assuming that I shouldn't be pressing the pirep button in the cigar box, or am I??? for each leg. There must be something about it somewhere but I couldn't find it in the FAQs
