Title: can't open a zip-file...
Post by: Laagvlieger on September 19, 2018, 10:58:40 AM
I can't open the Ski Dirty-zipfile from Moorings Beaver.
The other four are OK.

Does anyone have a good working Ski-dirty from Misty Moorings file in his computer? The name of the file is: texture.N003MM_Ski.zip.

If you have, put it please in your dropbox ans give me a line!

Because the winter is coming in the Netherlands, I have to have a used ski plane to be able to rise from the harsh Dutch snowfields. They never blow the snow away! >:(

Thanks in advance!

description=This Misty Moorings Dirty version of the DHC-2 Beaver is a purely fictional repaint to go with the Misty Moorings idea. The DHC2 was manufactured by de Havilland Aircraft of Canada, Ltd. from 1948 to 1969. The MKI is the mostly spread version witha 450 SHP Pratt & Whitney R985. Alternatively a MKII was developed with 550 SHP Alvis Leonides 502/4 engine. Later the less common PT6A6 turboprop powerd Beaver was built between 1964 to 1969. In total almost 1700 planes were built and many of them are beautifully restored and service for tourist flights, transportation and fun all around the world.

I added both files together, did some more repairs, added installation advice (just as there are as with the rest of the AM, SW, FL and TW aircrafts).

Everyone now can download the fully working plane as a zip from a Dropbox with this link:

As you might know on the dashboard of the Aerosoft Beaver there is no NAV / GPS switch.
Such a switch is absolutely essential for the Beaver to follow a flight plan (Plan G3). To get such a switch on the dashboard now you can download an instruction via the following link:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2n5bovlrcdvvety/Add%20GPS-Nav%20Switch%20to%20Auto%20Pilot%20panel.pdf?dl=0

When you want the Beaver to follow a .pln plan, do not forget to put the above switch on GPS and activate the NAV button on the autopilot!

Somewhere on the internet is a very small program that makes the screen of the Beaver GPS 295 somewhat easier to read. The landscape becomes clearer.
I can not find this program on my computer again. :(

Do you still have it? Please, let me know!
