Beautiful day in ID, so I called up a pilot friend and said I'll fil up your 180 and let's make some noise. He says no can do, but the planes there so go take it and then fill it up and make some noise. So I thanked him and took him up on his offer. So I out flew up to Lucky Peak Reservoir on the Boise river up to Stanley had lunch, flew back, pulled up to the pump, went to get out of the plane, left foot slipped off the step, right foot hits to tarmac, rolls and sprains my ankle, now I'm also embarrassed The kid who drives the JET A truck helps taxing the plane back to the hanger and puts it away. I go to urgent care diagnosis severe sprain n' hairline fracture of some itty bitty bone I've never heard of, So now here I sit foot elevated, lots of ice for 2 or 3 days and then a week or 2 with a walking cast. Virtual flying is definitely safer, I've never fallen out of the chair, even after having some scotch
