Got a few minutes to spare and like a bit of WWII history? Here's a link to the story of Maj. Greg Boyington commander of VF214, better known as "The Black Sheep"
He had 26 'kills' tying Eddie Rickenbacker Of WWI fame. He grew up in St. Mary's ID and I was aware of his story since I was youngster in Elk River, ID only about 65 miles away. In some ways he inspired my desire to become a Naval Aviator.

I'm pretty sure he said he shot down a couple more after the 26th, aiding his wingman. So, at least 27 or 28, eh? Thanks for sharing. It was very interesting, and kinda sad too. :'( Danged alcohol! I'm not a fan (of booze). >:(
(I'd show videos in Misty's Place, or in the screenshots thread. ;) )

Good one, Spud. Good to see you posting again, too. From your vid clip I grabbed a few links to "Rat Patrol", in color, and "Combat", two shows I grew up with.
Take care, Spud.
