I used to have TFX installed at my FSX. I recently switched to FSX-SE. I now seem to have the terrain problems I read a lot about: all water is covered by trees, airports like CAB5 have no runway anymore, etc.
I can see tutorials for people installing TFX in P3D, but not for a switch to FSX-SE. Can anyone help me?
Thx.

Hi Marcel,
What Patrick is saying is to be sure your TFX entries are in your FSX-SE Terrain.cfg file. Follow the procedures for adding the entries to the terrain.cfg and renumbering it. (or at least make sure the entries are in there.) Also, make sure your TFX scenery.cfg entries of "Higher and Lower priority" are added and placed below the FTX entries. Then it should work. AS Jeff said

The 40 terrain entries + renumbering were not enough. The whole installation had gone to my old FSX directory.
But I managed to move the simobjects, effects, sounds, Altitude corrections to the FSX-SE spots, and hopefully everything is working now. The trees have disappeared, but still need some extensive exploring of the area + add the RTMM addons.
Thanks for yr help guys.
Cheers.
