Hi Folks. After installing several MM sceneries to my P3Dv3. I now have these vertical contrails rising vertically from boats. (Please see attached). Does anybody know what is causing this please?

"Flaps" ... use the Search for the forum and put in "Vertical" ... there are several references there I think you could use.

Contrails are clouds formed when water vapor condenses and freezes around small particles (aerosols) that exist in aircraft exhaust. Some of that water vapor comes from the air around the plane; and, some is added by the exhaust of the aircraft. The exhaust of an aircraft contains both gas (vapor) and solid particles. This usually occurs between 25,000, and 30,000 feet of altitude.

8) Thanks Sue. They are, of course, wakes not contrails. The altitude is way too low for that. ;)

Thanks Patrick.
In case you are like me, and thought Patrick forgot the link ... click on the word "wake". It is the link. ;)

Some of us are used to this type of anomaly but it would help to at least BOLD & Underline the word to make it more obvious that it is a link.

NeptuneP2V7, thanks for that file. I just installed RTMM , and the TF shipping to P3D 4 . When I had vertical wakes, I knew exactly where to find a fix. No hunting around and pulling hair, just one quick click.
I appreciate it.
