Title: Misty Air Taxi Service
Post by: Rangerick on March 05, 2017, 09:03:12 AM
Is this file(s) no longer available, or am I just 'Blind' ?  I was specifically trying to find the gauge file and panel.cfg entries for the Beaver "Mini Panel" that was part of this package.

I see the panel.cfg entries in the "Misty Air Taxi Readme.pdf" file.  Do you have that?  ???

Yes, I found (1.) Doug's Readme file, but I was trying to find (2.) the "Gauge file"

Included in the package:
1. The Readme (this document)
2. Gauge file to be added to FSX for the gauges
3. panel.cfg file I use to create the heads up display
4. instructions for altering the panel.cfg file
5. Starter “Dispatches” .. with Flight Plan and associated auto route.
6. MM Taxi Service Trip Tic link is:

That's odd it works in the original post.  http://forum.mistymoorings.com/index.php?topic=2315.0  The link is in Stiletto2's post  Reply # 10.   It works if you cut and paste it into the address bar, strange.

The link she posted is incomplete, but if you highlight from the beginning of "HTTP" to the end of ".zip" and right click the link you can "go to" it.  (... or click on this link here):

The file will download when you click the link.

I just did a new D/L of the scenery direct from the 'M' section of the Scenery Page and it appears to be complete.
Attached is a screenshot of the contents of the .zip file.

Yup, there's the "gauges" folder, right there.  I bet there's gauges in that folder too!  ;)  :o

You Folks are the BEST !

Thanks.

P.S.   If anyone is looking for an absolutely AMAZING freeware A/C, Check out the
FSX/FSX-SE/P3D Douglas C-47R Skytrain V3.14 Beta.zip, on SimOuthouse, http://www.sim-outhouse.com

This A/C is as good or better than 90% of the "Payware" A/C I've purchased in the past 10 years.

The panel lighting is unbelievable ! (see pic. attachment)

Works GREAT in P3D v3.4 too.

It's listed under: Warbirds Library > FSX Civilian Props  >  FSX/FSX-SE/P3D Douglas C-47R Skytrain V3.14 Beta.zip

I have this A/C download and it is a follow on to the V2.  It is indeed a very nice A/C and also has a Tico Belle repaint available.  My proble is with the different views incorporated with the A/C.  They are non-standard FSX views and while that isn't a problem the fact that after using the A/C and switching to another airplane the non-standard view keys carry over to the next A/C.  The only way to eliminate this is to restart FSX.  Not a thing I like doing due to the time it takes to re-load.
